VTCT (ITEC) Level 1 Award In Mental Health Awareness

This purpose of the qualification is to provide learners with an understanding of mental health and wellbeing. Learners will develop an awareness of a range of mental health conditions, the factors affecting mental health and the impact of mental health from a global, individual and workplace perspective.

Learners will develop an understanding of what constitutes good mental health and mental ill-health and how to recognise the signs and symptoms of a number of mental health conditions. Learners will also develop an awareness of the types of support available for mental health conditions and how to access them.

UMH1 Understanding mental health (Theory):

• Understanding what is meant by mental health

• Awareness of the effects of mental health conditions

• Supporting people with mental health conditions

Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents Trainee must pass all prescribed tests / assessments and attain 100% competency. Beauty Forever Learning Hub reserves the right to claw back the funded amount from trainee if he/she did not meet the eligibility criteria. UTAP: This course is eligible for Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP). NTUC members can enjoy up to 50% funding (capped at $250 per year) under UTAP.	Absentee Payroll (AP) Funding: $4.50 per hour, capped at $100,000 per enterprise per calendar year. AP funding will be computed based on the actual number of training hours attended by the trainee. Note: Courses / Modules under Professional Conversion Programme (PCP) will not be eligible for AP funding claim did not meet the eligibility criteria.
